MICROCHANNELING

Microchanneling is also known as Nano Insufusion and Nano Needling. This is a less aggressive, "no needle" alternative to microneedling. The microchanneling process is done with a handheld device or "pen" that moves the nano cartridge up and down onto the surface of the skin. You feel a vibration and sensation much like a cat licking you with its rough tounge. There is no pain or discomfort.

The nano cartridge contains a disc of "needles", each having a diameter equal to about 1/3 of a human hair, which is almost invisible to the naked eye. When these pins gently touch the skin, they form up to 200,000 invisible microchannels.

 

These micro channels in the skin are a direct line to deliver products (nourishing serums) below the skin barrier and stimulate the regenerative processes and collagen production in the skin.  The skin cells rearrange themselves to allow nutrition to pass through the skin barrier in order to help the absorption of skin care products and to effectively feed the skin and stimulate collagen & elastin production.

 

Microchanneling is a non-invasive treatment which acts more effectively than "micro-needling" treatments. It does not injure, tear or damage the skin. It feeds your skin nutrients, rather than forcing them in with invasive and damaging implements and treatments.

There is no pain, inflammation, bleeding, or discomfort.

*AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS*

Keep treated skin clean and hydrated.

Use the After Care Kit provided by your esthetician until gone: cleanser, serums, moisturizer, and SPF.

If skin is red or irritated, use a cooling face mask or cool compress.

Drink plenty of water to remain hydrated.

Avoid wearing makeup over the treated area for 12-24 hours.

Refrain from exposure to excessive heat, steam, sunlight, or tanning beds for 48 hours.

Refrain from exercise and sweating for 48 hours.

Refrain from any type of exfoliation for 48 hours: facial scrubs, chemical exfoliants, clarisonic wands or other electrical facial cleaning wands, etc.

Refrain from using products containing active ingredients such as alpha hydroxy acids, peptides, retinols, or any other products not approved by your esthetician for 48 hours.

Do not allow any of the following services to be done over the treated area for 48 hours: waxing, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, enzymes, chemical peels, spray tanning, permanent makeup, tattooing, microneedling, or any other esthetic or cosmetic treatments.

**POLICIES**

Please note that we adhere to a strict "NO CHILDREN POLICY".

We have limited seating in our waiting room and

three estheticians seeing clients daily for relaxing services.

All guests entering the spa suite must be 16 or older.

Clients under 16 may receive services with our approval and must be accompanied by a parent during services.

Only clients receiving services will be permitted in our treatment rooms as extra guests are prohibited per our insurance policy.

 

Due to the private nature of our services, your eyes being closed, and the tranquil environment needed for everyone to have a relaxing spa experience,

we request that no children or extra guests accompany you to your appointments as this can take away from other clients' relaxing experiences as well as interrupting our services.

We have a 48-hour cancellation policy

as we cannot always fill vacancies with less notice. 

A 50% fee will be applied to all appointments cancelled less than 48 hours in advance.

A 75% cancellation fee will be applied to all no shows.
