SUSPENSION OF SERVICES
UNTIL APRIL 6, 2020
We have decided to suspend spa services at Evoque until April 6 in an effort to do our part to "Flatten the Curve". We will reevaluate at that time. This decision was not an easy one. We value our clients and realize this may leave some of you in a lurch. However, in light of the CDC recommendations, we believe the ethical choice is to suspend services and go without our own incomes, rather than risk further spreading this virus that cannot be prevented simply by increasing our sanitizing/disinfecting protocols and reducing the number of people in our spa at one time.
🦠 We are in direct contact with our clients. Your "exhale" is our "inhale".
🦠We cannot maintain the 6-foot distance recommended by the CDC to reduce risk of transmission when providing spa services.
🦠The CDC believes COVID-19 is spread by respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes and can be spread to a new host by those respiratory droplets entering their nose/mouth during the service if an infected person coughs or sneezes.
🦠It is not feasible for all parties to wear new/unused N95 respirators during spa services as there is a nationwide shortage and health care workers are unable to obtain them. Other masks (surgical, cloth, etc.) help some, but do NOT fully protect from COVID-19.
🦠Our normal, everyday sanitizing and sterilizing protocols will NOT prevent transmission by respiratory droplets (implements submerged in EPA-registered, hospital grade, liquid sterilant; cleaning surfaces with same liquid sterilant; using Clorox wipes and Lysol spray to clean in between clients; washing hands and using hand sanitizer; changing lines between clients; wearing personal protective equipment for each service -gloves, glasses, etc.)
🦠Incubation period is 2-14 days before showing symptoms, and some in cases NO symptoms are present, per the CDC.
🦠Many people have traveled/are traveling
🦠Many people are not practicing "social distancing" or "self quarantine" for 14 days after travel.
🦠Many people are sick or have sick household members (flu A, flu B, colds, sinus infections, bronchitis, etc.) and have symptoms that overlap that of COVID-19.
While spa services are suspended, we CAN:

💛do virtual consultations for new clients via phone and recommend home care products.
💛drop ship professional skin care products directly to our clients.
💛reschedule any appointments for a date after April 5. Clients with recurring appointments do NOT need to reschedule.
We will be contacting clients that have existing appointments through April 6 with options for complimentary "Self Care Kits" that can be mailed to them at home to tide them over until their next professional service with us.

This is our first price increase in over three years of business.
Please remember that we operate “By Appointment Only” and most often behind closed doors in session with our scheduled clients. We do not have set hours of operation for walk-ins. If you need us outside of your appointment time, please email or text us, so that we can avoid any interruptions of services with our scheduled clients and any aggravation or hurt feelings from our unexpected walk-ins.

Please note that we adhere to a strict "NO CHILDREN POLICY".
We have limited seating in our waiting room and
two estheticians and a nurse practitioner seeing clients daily for services.
All guests entering the spa suite must be 16 or older.
Clients under 16 may receive services with our approval and must be accompanied by a parent during services.
Only clients receiving services will be permitted in our treatment rooms as extra guests are prohibited per our insurance policy.
Due to the private nature of our services, your eyes being closed, and the tranquil environment needed for everyone to have a relaxing spa experience,
we request that no children or extra guests accompany you to your appointments as this can take away from other clients' relaxing experiences as well as interrupting our services.
We strive to provide personal, relaxing attention to each of our clients.
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy
as we cannot always fill vacancies with less notice.
A 50% fee will be applied to all appointments cancelled less than 48 hours in advance. A 100% cancellation fee will be applied to all no shows.
