Custom Airbrush Tanning
at Evoque Spa & Wellness Suites
Suite 102

Your sunless session will be customized to your skin tone and the level of tanning you desire.

Airbrush tans should be done every 10-14 days after the old layer of tan has been exfoliated off.

We do not offer unlimited packages as there is no need for a weekly tan.  =)

Hair nets, eye protection, and sticky feet are provided for your service. Disposable bralets and bikini bottoms are available  if you do not wish to spray in your own swimsuit.

Women may spray without clothing. Men must wear boxers or briefs.

The quality of the results from your tanning session depend on before and after care.

Please take note and follow the recommendations listed below:

24 Hours Before Your Appointment

  • Shower and exfoliate with a gritty exfoliating scrub a to remove any dead or peeling skin.

  • Shower with non-oil-based products. Do not use bar soap (except Glo Bars), or any Dove soap as it will leave an oily residue.

  • Shave your legs, underarms, and bikini area—to make sure pores have time to close before your spray.

  • Do not moisturize after your shower. It can cause the spray tan not to adhere properly.

  • Discontinue use of any adhesives that will leave a sticky residue on your skin: BandAids, eyelash extension pads, ankle/wrist tape, etc.

  • Discontinue use of deodorant and antiperspirants. The spray tan may turn green in the areas where deodorants and perspirants are applied.

To your appointment:

  • Do not wear deodorant, perfumes, makeup, moisturizers, lotions, sunscreens, or any other products. All products must be removed even if they were applied hours before the appointment. (Deodorant may turn green when sprayed.)

  • Bring an old bathing suit or underwear to wear during your session. For your convenience, we have disposable bralets and panties available.

  • Wear dark cotton garments and flip flops—the tanning solution will stain most other fabrics. Color may transfer to shoes, undergarments, sheets, etc.

  • Nail polish (even clear) may be worn as it prevents the solution from staining your nails.

  • Lipstick, chapstik, lip balms, etc. may be worn before/during/after your spray tan.

  • If it is raining, wear long sleeves, long pants, and bring an umbrella or plastic poncho to avoid streaks from the rain.

After your appointment:

  • We recommend that you do not put your bra back on after your spray tan. If you must, it is best NOT to wear a sports bra. Put a regular bra on the loosest fastener and tuck the straps inside.

  • Your tan may feel a bit sticky and have a slight scent to it until it is rinsed.

  • Avoid touching any areas that have been sprayed. If you do so, take a rag or wipe and clean your palms to avoid staining.

  • Avoid washing your full hands, use a wipe or rag on the palms only instead.

  • Avoid sweating, excessive heat, vigorous exercise, or wearing tight clothing for at least 5 hours.

  • Avoid wearing shoes or socks to prevent rub marks.

  • Avoid resting your hands, arms, legs, on other body parts to avoid rub marks.

  • Avoid sitting or laying on light colored furniture or fabrics until you rinse.

  • Do not get waxed or threaded before your rinse. You may pluck unwanted hairs.

Immediate Aftercare:

  • Do not wash your face before your rinse.

  • Wait 8-12 hours before you rinse with regular solutions, 1-4 hours before you rinse rapid solutions. Rinsing early may lighten the color and/or lessen the impact of your spray tan.

  • Rinse only with lukewarm water, no soaps (other than Glo Bar), shower gels, etc.

  • Do not urinate in the shower as it will leave streaks down your legs.

  • Do not be alarmed if the bronze color rinses off, your tan will continue to develop.

  • Wait 12 hours after your appointment to shave, and use a fresh razor each time.

Longterm Aftercare:

  • Use products that will extend and compliment your spray tan, such as Glo Bar, etc.).

  • Moisturize regularly with an oil-free moisturizer/lotion.

  • Avoid long hot baths/showers as they speed up exfoliation (skin shedding).

  • Pat your skin dry after a bath/shower. Rubbing your skin may rub off your tan.

  • Avoid swimming pools or sea water as these can reduce your tan.

Please note:

  • If you have a sunburn or are peeling, your spray tan will come off as that skin sheds.

  • Hormones can interfere with the development of the tan.

  • If you are pregnant, you must have your doctor’s consent to receive a spray tan at Evoque.

  • If you are under 18 years of age, you must have your parent/guardian’s consent to receive any service at Evoque. A parent must accompany clients under 18 years of age to their first appointment.

  • Refunds are not given for services rendered. Any operator errors will be remedied with corrective service.
